Newcastle striker bid blow as Chelsea boss rules out Loic Remy loan
Newcastle United's hopes of signing a new striker suffered a major blow after Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink claimed Loic Remy won't be leaving this month.
The Magpies had been keen on a loan move for their former striker as they look to bolster their attack.
Remy is behind Diego Costa in the pecking order at Stamford Bridge, but Blues boss Hiddink doesn’t want to lose the Frenchman.
Hiddink said: “He will stay until the end of the season.

“I hope Remy picks it up. I hope he will deliver if he is needed.”
Remy had a season on loan at Newcastle where he scored 14 times, before joining Chelsea. However, he has started just once in the Premier League this season
