Newcastle United news: Tottenham muscle in on deal, secret derby update
Newcastle United's hopes of landing Saido Berahino are seemingly fading.

The club has made no progress in talks with West Bromwich Albion about a club-record move for the striker.
And Tottenham are ready to make a final attempt to sign Berahino, having tried and failed to land the 22-year-old last summer.
Newcastle are looking at other striking options as winger Andros Townsend undergoes a medical ahead of move to St James's Park.
