Newcastle's £12m flop Florian Thauvin flies to Marseille on private jet to rejoin old club

The winger flew to France today as the club's completed the formalities of a six-month loan deal.

Thauvin, a long-time target of chief scout Graham Carr, only joined Newcastle United in August.

But the 23-year-old' struggled to make any kind of impression at St James's Park and became unsettled on Tyneside late last year.

French media pictured pictured a private jet at Marseille Provence Airport said to have taken Thauvin to France.
