No fear! Steve McClaren's message to Newcastle ahead of Chelsea clash

McClaren's relegation-threatened side take on the Premier League champions at Stamford Bridge tomorrow evening.

Newcastle's away form is woeful this season, but McClaren, the club's head coach, doesn't believe a cautious approach will work against Chelsea, unbeaten under Guus Hiddink.

McClaren said: "We have to get over that barrier and start picking up points away from home.

"We can't sit back and soak up pressure. We have to be on the front foot.

"We have to go there with no fear and have a go."
