Police send out thanks after woman who went missing after night out is found

Police who said they were becoming increasingly concerned for a woman have said she has been found “safe and well.”

Chloe Repper, 33, from the Midlothian area of Scotland, had last been seen in Newcastle city centre in the early hours of today, Tuesday, December 31.

She had become separated from her friend and was last seen leaving Greys Club on Grey Street at about 3am.

Northumbria Police believed she may have left in a taxi and left her phone in the vehicle as it issued an appeal to find her, with her family joining police in their concern for her.

Now it has confirmed she has been found.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Good news.

“Missing woman Chloe Repper has been located safe and well in Newcastle this afternoon.

“A huge thank you to everyone who shared the appeal far and wide and helped us locate her.”
