Duncan Smith, 40, enjoys making videos of the North East’s beautiful landscapes to share with his followers on his YouTube channel SlammDunk Productions.
And in his latest film, he has used drone footage to capture the stunning coastline of South Shields and many of the landmarks in the town.

Hide AdA self-taught videographer, Duncan said he wanted to share his video with people from the town who would be able to see their home from a new perspective.
Duncan is originally from Scotland but has made the North East his home and now lives in Newcastle.
He told the Gazette: “I do own a couple of YouTube channels, one of which I use to focus on local content.
“My channel SlammDunk Productions currently has over 40 cinematic drone movies shot across the North East.

Hide Ad“I just do it for the love of filming lovely locations and learning to edit videos better.
“I done lots of local work, including free videos for Heaton Rugby, Dave TV and more. I am self-taught and do everything myself.
“I always work really hard to please the locals when making these videos.”
His collection of North East drone videos taken from stunning locations in the region include High Force, the Angel of the North and the River Tyne.
