Three young netballers are celebrating after they were selected for regional squads.

Lauren Tooley, 17, who plays for Speedwell Netball Club, currently based at Harton Academy, in South Shields, has been chosen to represent the under-19 North East National Performance League squad.

Meanwhile, her sister, Megan Tooley 14, and Anais Errington, 15, both from the Tyneside Raiders Netball Club, also based at Harton Academy, have secured places in the under-15 North East academy squad.

All three were chosen after attending trials earlier in the year and and hope to make their debuts once fixtures eventually resume in 2021.
