The Burger King has announced it is reopening its Washington Services branch.

Burger King bosses have confirmed that the Washington Services restaurant is now open for takeaway at the counter only.

While other Burger King branches, such as Wallsend High Street, are open for delivery and drive thru only.

When will its other branches open?

What safety measures are in place?

Customers are being reassured that safety measures will be in place to look after both their health and that of staff, with new safety procedures already tested out prior to reopening.

While restaurants operating a delivery only service will have contactless delivery options via Deliveroo and Just Eat.

What will be on the menu?

The Washington branch should have the full Burger King menu to choose from, but branches with delivery only will have a limited menu – but customers can rest assured that favourites such as the Chicken Royale, Bacon Double Cheeseburger and Whopper will all be available to order.

Katie Evans, marketing director at Burger King UK, said: “We are so pleased to be able to open more restaurants this week and slowly but surely get back to ‘normal’, ensuring all safety measures are in place.”
