Pets at Home reopens South Shields branch after revamp
A South Tyneside pet store has undergone a revamp to improve the experience for its customers '“ including those of the four-legged variety.
Pets at Home in Station Road, South Shields, now has a new-look store after undergoing a transformation.
As well as additional shelving on the lower floor, it has now opened up a second floor, where Vets 4 Pets will set up home next month.
The store, which opened its doors three years ago, has also introduced a grooming room for dogs.
Deputy manager, Michael Gormley, said: “We have stayed open throughout the works and we are really pleased with the new layout.
“Since we opened three years ago, business has been great, which I think has led to the company expanding with the new services.
“Vets 4 Pets will open up on March 18, while our dog-grooming service is up and running now.
“We are in the process of training up a cat groomer so we can offer the same level of service to our feline friends.
“We are all really pleased with the changes and it’s going to be great for our customers,as well as their pets, as we will be able to offer them an all-in-one experience.”
