Picture special: Annual parade marks Good Friday in South Shields
Dozens took to the streets of South Shields to watch the annual Good Friday parade.
The traditional event takes place every year - and the grey weather didn’t dampen the spirits of those who attended yesterday.
The town-centre parade was one of three taking place in Shields yesterday, with Mayor of South Tyneside Olive Punchion in attendance.
