Possessing offensive weapons, drugs and fake cash - the latest South Tyneside cases dealt with at court

Joshua Radick, 19, of Elmfield Road, Hebburn, was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months, 20 rehabilitation activity days, and ordered to pay fines and costs of £200 for possession of an offensive weapon.

Buzz Smith, 26, of Stoddart Street, South Shields, was sentenced to a community order of 12 months, 25 rehabilitation activity days, and ordered to pay £1,750 compensation for two offences of criminal damage, and possession of a Class B drug.

Douglas Bell, 31, of Priory Road, Jarrow, received a community order of 18 months, 25 rehabilitation activity days, and was ordered to pay £420 in compensation and costs for two offences of criminal damage.

David Crabtree, 29, of South Frederick Street, South Shields, was ordered to pay £205 in fines, costs, and compensation for criminal damage.

Courtney Jamal, 20, of Corbett Crescent, South Shieldsm was sentenced to a community order of 12 months, 40 hours of unpaid work, and ordered to pay £14 compensation for theft.

Ryan Mason, 30, of St Jude’s Terrace, South Shields, was sentenced to a community order of 12 months, disqualified from driving for three years, and ordered to pay fines and costs of £250 for failing to provide a specimen when required to do so, and for driving without insurance.

Kevin St Clair, 41, of Eyemouth Court, South Shields, was ordered to pay £210 in fines and costs and given six driving licence penalty points for failing to give driver details when required to do so.

Reece Elliott, 29, of Foss Way, South Shields, was sentenced to 28 days in prison and ordered to pay £200 costs for possessing a counterfeit bank note with intent to tender it as genuine.

Robert Burton, 38, of Lambley Crescent, Hebburn, was ordered to pay fines and costs of £569 for being drunk and disorderly.
