A mystical evening is on the cards to raise cash for a South Tyneside hospice.
St Clare’s Hospice, in Jarrow, is hosting a fundraising psychic night.
The evening of clairvoyance is set to be held at Jarrow Civic Hall, in the town’s Ellison Street, on Friday, March 11.
The event will see professional psychic medium Kerry Clairvoyant read the audience.
Kerry, who has donated her time to support the hospice, said: “We all know someone who has been supported and cared for by St Clare’s Hospice, and without public support it could not do the work it does.
“It’s about time we as a community gave back to this amazing place. Every penny raised will be donated directly to St Clare’s to ensure we help keep their services running.

“I encourage everyone even if you cannot come to the night to donate to this amazing place or buy a raffle ticket. We are still looking for more raffle and tombola prizes, so if you have your own business or can donate a tombola prize please do.”
Fundraiser Tyler Anderson, who is organising the evening, said: “The unknown is very attractive to many people and I think this will be a great success and raise much needed funds for patient care at the hospice.
“This year we need to raise £1.4m to be able to provide our services free of charge to the community
“It doesn’t matter if you believe in this kind of thing or not, it will be still be a highly entertaining night for everyone involved.”
St Clare’s, in Primrose Terrace, provides palliative care to the people of South Tyneside with life-limiting illnesses.
