Striker Dwight Gayle – who missed last weekend's win over Crystal Palace with a calf problem – is available to face Burnley.

Massadio Haidara is also fit after recovering from a recent injury, though Paul Dummett, his defensive colleague, remains sidelined with a hamstring problem.

Asked about injuries, Benitez said: "We have good news, because still we have Dummett (unavailable), and that's it.

"The rest of the players are available, and that's a problem for me, because I have to decide who will be in the squad, who will be in the team and then you will say 'oh why this player, why not the other one?'.

“But I prefer these questions, because it means that the players are fit."

"We have had some games in which maybe we deserved even more, some games where we could have conceded, but we have have chances in some games to get more points, so it could be even better," said United manager Benitez.

“I'm really pleased with our position, but, still, I think we have to wait until January."
