Hide AdNewcastle fans overwhelmingly voted for most players to leave - which is perhaps indicative of some of the dead wood still in Benitez's squad.
But there were still some individuals that fans were keen to keep who will perhaps come as little surprise given their role in the squad.
In a landslide vote, 86% of fans wanted to keep skipper Lascelles at the club after the defender was heavily linked with an exit during the summer.
78% of supporters were keen to see Matt Ritchie remain in the North East, too - while another large percentage, 72%, thought that Karl Darlow should not be sold.
