KIds in East Shields have been getting crafty during the school holidays.
Youngsters have been flocking to Cleadon Park Library, in Prince Edward Road, to take part in its daily craft sessions.
Based on the theme of Easter and spring, children of all ages have been able to make a range of creations including rabbit masks.
Clare Craig, early years librarian, said: “All of our libraries have been doing regular craft sessions during the holidays.
“They are always very well attended and popular with the children.
“We open the sessions up to both members and non-members, so they too can come along and see what the libraries have to offer.”
Clare added: “The craft sessions will be continuing into next week too, so there’s plenty of time still to come along and have fun.”
Craft sessions will also be held at Cleadon Park Library on Monday, from 10am to noon and on Friday, again, from 10am to noon.
