JAKE Hudson is hoping to be a hit when he takes to the stage next week.
The Jarrow youngster is in the running in the finals of the Best of South Tyneside Young Performer of the Year competition.
His proud mum Kelly Hudson said she had nominated her 11-year-old son because he was already a rising talent with a difference.
That’s because, when Jake performs at the Customs House in South Shields next Monday, he will be sharing his combination of singing and kickboxing.
And Kelly told how Jake was no newcomer to showing off his undoubted skills in public.
She added: “Jake won a few talent shows and performed at a couple of fundraising nights. He loves to perform, he has singing lessons each week.
One of his favourite performances is when he sings and kickboxes to Eye Of The Tiger.Kelly Hudson, mum
