Slavisa Jokanovic sets out his position on a Fulham move for Newcastle's Aleksandar Mitrovic
Slavisa Jokanovic wants Fulham to sign loanee Aleksandar Mitrovic in the summer.
The Newcastle United striker has scored 10 goals for the promotion-chasing Championship club.
Mitrovic joined Fulham in January, and his goals have taken the club to within a point of the automatic promotion places.
And manager Jokanovic would love to turn Mitrovic's loan into a permanent move.
"He made a great job for us," said Jokanovic. "The club took the right decision to bring him to help us.
"I don't know what will happen in the future. First of all, he's a Newcastle player, and ahead of him is the World Cup (with Serbia).
"I know he's really happy with the team, with the club, with the city and for another side he knows I'm satisfied with level he offers us.
"Everything's open. If you ask me about if I want him with us, yes I want. In realistic life, we're going to see.
"This job is for another side and not under my control."
