“This is our first Takeover Open Exhibition at The Customs House and we aim to showcase and celebrate the talent of young artists who are resident in Tyne and Wear.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity for them to say they’ve exhibited their work publically.
“We’re busy appointing a panel of creative people to act as independent judges who will select prize winners for each age category.
“The winner of the 19 to 25 category will have their own solo show in Upper Fusion Gallery at The Customs House later in 2018.”
Artwork should be submitted before Friday, May 11 - preferably framed or on stretched canvas and no more than two metres in size in any direction.
All submissions must come with a completed application form.
