South Shields firefighters called to car blaze

Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service (TWFRS) were called out to Boldon Lane on Thursday, May 7 after reports of a car on fire.

A crew from South Shields responded to the incident – in which no one was hurt.

TWFRS confirmed that only one car was involved and the cause is not believed to be suspicious.
