The Hedworth Hall side make the trip to Bishop Auckland for the second time in six weeks having played their league fixture back in January, which the hosts won 22-5.

Shields are still missing a host of key players with Louis Kellett, Dan McKay, Marcus Colborne and Carlos Mut Morei all out, while Martin Bengston is rested after suffering a nose injury last week.

Martin’s brother, Matt Bengston, returns having missed last weekend with a shoulder knock.

Mark Walker also returns and will be available for the remainder of the season.

Club veteran and former captain Mackenzie returns to the squad and is likely to start at second row.

The away side will include a host of youth with Liam Hubbard, Nathan Key and Deacon Wallace all included in the first-team match squad for the first time.

Centre Alex Welland plays his final game for the club as he finishes his studies and returns home before he begins a sea phase with his company.

Tomorrow’s cup semi final will kick off at 3pm at Bishop Auckland’s West Mills ground, DL14 7PA.
