The Harton Technology School pupil was put forward for the part by her dad Lee Shone who voices the character Tom Wisely in the game.

The game’s vreators had been looking for someone to be the voice of the character in the crime action computer game when the youngster wowed them with her talents.

As yet the game has only been released in America but Olivia already has ambitions closer to home.

She said: “I’m hoping to one day be an actress when I’m older.

I’d love to see her go on to achieve her dreams.

“It’s something I’ve wanted to do for ages. I love performing and I love playing different characters - it’s really fun.

“It’s really exciting to think it’s my voice in the game. It’s amazing.

“All my friends think it’s really cool.”

The game is set in the year 1938 where a mob war has broken out and citizens are living in fear as various crime syndicates vie for control of the city.

Voice overs for the characters have been provided by a number of American actors including The Walking Dead: The Game - Season 2’s Owen Thomas and Paul Eiding who voiced Perceptor from the original Transformers cartoon series and The Smurfs. He has also guest starred on CSI: Miami, Grey’s Anatomy, ER and My Name is Earl.

Dad, Lee Shone first turned to acting two years ago and as well as voicing one of the main characters in the game has landed himself parts in three major films.

His latest ‘My Name is Lenny’ - where he plays the main villian called Trevor Lemon - hits the screen this month.

He said: “Olivia is really talented and I want to do as much as I can to help her.

“When I was talking to the creators and doing my part, they mentioned about a young Delia. I thought it would be ideal for Olivia so I put her forward.

“Olivia has struggled with her confidence in the past but she has such a talent for acting it would be a shame for her to miss out on something she is really good at.

“Being given a voiceover part in game for one of the most pivotal characters has really given her confidence a boost.

“I’d love to see her go on to achieve her dreams of becoming an actress.”
