Other films include Home Alone, Toy Story, Back to the Future, Pretty Woman and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs among others.

There will also be a screening of horror flick The Shining on October 31.

The drive-in cinema was first launched in 2012 and after proving a hit with movie fans, organisers have brought it back year after year.

Philip Sheeran, of Ocean Beach Pleasure Park said: “Previous years have been a huge success, which is why we have decided to bring it back. “The movie choices we have made cater for all ages. The nights are always popular.”

Cinema food including hot dogs, popcorn, nachos and milkshakes will be available for people to buy on the night as they watch their favourite movies from the comfort of their cars.

Sound is transmitted through each moto’s FM radio system.

The drive-in cinema will run from October 21 until November 4.

Tickets, priced between £27 and £32 per vehicle up to 7 seats, are available from the website or from Scoop & Bean in Sea Road, South Shields.

People can also pay on the gate, on the night, if space is available.

Spaces are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Gates close at 6.15pm each night - 30 minutes before each film starts.
