South Tyneside firm marks 10-years of balancing books

A South Tyneside-based accountancy firm is celebrating a decade of helping businesses balance their books.

Quantum Accountancy Service Ltd first started trading in 2006 .

The company was created by directors Sheila Heron and Geoff Robson and since it’s launch has seen its client base grow significantly.

The pair are currently in their third office in Boldon’s High Tech Village after re-locating from the nearby council-run Quadrus Centre.

The firm aims to support smaller businesses to trade more efficiently.

The company is based at 14 Witney Way, Boldon, and Sheila, said: “We have experienced so many economic changes over the last 10 years which have had a huge impact on businesses, particularly smaller companies.

“Our main aim is to help the small to medium sized organisations keep their finances healthy and 
ensure that they are trading legally and as efficiently as possible.

“We believe in providing a service to our customers that yields a return on our fees in terms of great service and helping them run efficiently.

“As such, we have been able to expand the business and we now service customers from the Scottish borders all the way down to the south coast.

“We want to take this opportunity to thank our staff and clients for their loyalty and support over the years, and we are looking forward to working with them in the future.”

As well as accountancy, the company also supports people to turn their business ideas into a reality by helping them to decided on the best structure and the preparation of business plans, cashflow projections, budgets and trading forecasts.

Consultancy and system advice is also offered to those running their own companies.

Pension auto enrolment is also covered within the service they offer, whether the company has one or 100 employees, as well as working closely with business bosses to ensure they pay the minimum tax and support when it comes to bookkeeping.

Clients the company provides services for include a range of small and large business covering sectors including agriculture, the professions, the service sector, the construction industry, manufacturers and retailers.
