Squash club is calling for more girl power
It's set to be girl power all the way tomorrow at a South Tyneside squash club.
Boldon Squash Club will be opening its doors to women and girls only as part of a national drive to encourage more women to take up the sport.
The event is a joint venture between England Squash and Sport England to promote women and girls’ squash/racketball.
The free drop in will be between noon and 4pm.
All equipment will be provided and coaches will be on hand to encourage those taking part.
The drop-in will be followed by weekly sessions starting on Tuesday.
For seven weeks, the sessions dedicated to women and girls will learn the skills of the sport.
The hour-long sessions will start at 7pm and cost £3.
Equipment will be provided.
Boldon Squash Club is based in Sunderland Road, East Boldon.
Anyone interested in playing is asked to contact coach Kev Forster on 07866 903364 or email [email protected]
