Time is running out for people to sign up to a fundraising event in aid of Cancer Connections.

The Faith, Hope and Love Walk will take place at Bents Park, South Shields

The event raises much-needed funds for the charity based in Harton Lane, South Shields, which supports people diagnosed with cancer and their families.

The day starts at 10am with a Braveheart and children’s lap, at 11am, on June 13, kickstarting the 24-hour relay.

Co-founder of the charity Deborah Roberts said: “The Faith, Hope and Love walk is one of our biggest fundraisers. It’s great to see so many people coming together to help raise money for a cause which means so much to everyone.”

During the event there will be rides, food kiosks, music, birds of prey and Disney princess stalls.

Teams must be registered to take part. To register, call the charity on 0191 456 5081 or visit cancerconnections.org.uk
