Subway sandwich shop set to open in Hebburn

A popular sandwich shop is set to open another outlet in South Tyneside.

Subway has confirmed it is coming to Hebburn.

Work is currently underway to transform the former Booze Busters site in the town’s St James’ Mall.

The opening will create up to 10 jobs.

A spokesman for the chain said: “We can confirm that a new Subway store is due to open in St James’ Mall, Hebburn creating up to 10 new jobs.

“Subway stores appeal to the whole community offering great value and healthier options including low fat subs and salads, a welcome addition to any town. All franchisees are local business people who strive and work to be active members of their communities.”

Subway already has three stores in South Shields.
