Sunderland footballing legend Kevin Ball is coming to South Tyneside to share tales of his career.
The former SAFC midfielder is visiting the Elmfield Social Club, in Campbell Park Road, Hebburn, on Friday.
The talk-in event is being hosted by the Hebburn branch of the Sunderland Supporters’ Association.
The footballer’s visit is part of the club’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
Local band the Maverick Rejects will also play, and curry and rice will be served.
Profits will go to charity 4Louis, which supports families affected by stillbirth.
Tickets for the 7.30pm event cost £5 and are available on the door.
