It would also be a welcome surprise for her older sister, Natalie, who inspired her love for Gary.
She said: “He tweeted the other day, saying he showed up at weddings last year and would be doing the same with birthday parties this year.
“I absolutely love him. My sister Natalie has always listened to his music and I got into it through her. I’ve been to see him in concert and it would just be amazing if he turned up at my party.

“I can’t even explain how excited I’d feel if it happened.”

He took to Twitter on March 6 with his message.
He said: “2015 was the year I sang at weddings. And what fun we had.

“If you have a ‘milestone’ birthday this year start your campaign now. 21, 30, 40, 60, 110! I’ll come and sing at your party. Good luck everyone!”
Carly is asking people to take to Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to share her hashtag, #getgarytocarlys18th, to help get his attention.

“If people could take the time to share it, it would really mean a lot. I’ve supported him for ages and would love the chance to meet him.
“Getting him to come to my 18th birthday party and sing would make it even more special.”
