Talented South Shields teen surprises widow after transport mix up
Talented James Bassett surprised widow Jean MacDonald after a transport mix-up led to her missing out on a Christmas party.
The 14-year-old played a number of songs made famous by George Formby for Jean and her friends during their weekly coffee morning at St Hilda's Church in South Shields.
