A SOUTH Tyneside tea room is throwing open its doors to youngsters and their favourite teddy bear this bank holiday weekend.
The event is one of several planned at the new JolieRose Vintage Tea Rooms, in Westoe Road, by owners Kirsten and John Fraser.
Kirsten, 30, said: “We have two children of our own and wanted to do something special for families.
“The teddy bears’ picnic is a traditional event which still appeals to children today.”
The tea rooms will be decorated in a woodland theme, with teddy crafts and activities being laid on.
Places for the event cost £10.95. To book, call 07875 527732 or visit JolieRose Vintage Tea Rooms’ Facebook page.
