They work for us

How can it be ethically and morally right for a party, such as SouthTyneside Labour Party, which is currently suspended over claims of intimidation and bullying, have its candidates standing for re-election.

I know that the Labour Party has stated the candidates can stand for re-election under the present cicumstances, but doesn’t it send the wrong message to the electorate.

How can a party, which cannot conduct itself in accordance with democratic process, which then results in suspension, be allowed to represent us in an electoral ballot.

This party has made too many mistakes and costly decisions and believes itself to be “untouchable”.

These people need to remember who they work for – the people of South Tyneside.
