Tools stolen in building site burglary

Police are appealing for witnesses after tools were stolen in a building site burglary.

The burglary happened between noon on Saturday, May 21, and 7am Monday, May 23, at NB Clark Building Site in Wilfred Street in Boldon Colliery.

The burglars stole a number of tools from the compound. Tools stolen include a Nikon total station; a Rugby 820 laser level; a pipe laser; a hilti stone cutter, a Stihl stone cutter, a Bosch Breaker, a lock and nails.

Officers are carrying out inquiries into the burglary and are appealing for anyone who has information. In particular anyone who may be offered similar items for sale.
