There are delays to Metro services on Thursday, December 12.

Operator Nexus says driver availability is limited due to action by the RMT union, which began on Sunday, December 1.

It has withdrawn one train operating between Monument and South Shields; and South Shields and South Gosforth.

Nexus says the changes mean there will be gaps in service and trains will be particularly busy.
