Trains have been suspended on East Coast mainline due to a gas leak in Durham

Lines are closed with no rail traffic to depart southbound from Newcastle and no northbound from Darlington.
The incident is affecting Virgin Trains East Coast, CrossCountry and First Transpennine Express services.
The leak is reported to be near Durham's station.
