Commuters have faced a second day of disruption due to problems on the Tyne and Wear Metro.
Trains were withdrawn between South Shields and Gateshead Stadium earlier today due to a problem with the overhead line, @My_Metro tweeted.
They are now back in service, but with 30 minutes of delays.
The number 27 Go North East Bus is accepting tickets between Heworth and South Shields, @My_Metro also confirmed.
Today’s disruption follows technical problems on the same line yesterday which saw trains between South Shields and Bede suspended between 6.30am and 9.30am.
Elsewhere on the system, in North Tyneside, overhead line problems have also cancelled trains between Wallsend and North Shields until at least noon.
