Two vehicle collision causes queues on A19

A crash closed both lanes of the A19 causing a long tailback.

The incident involves two vehicles just before the A690 turn off the northbound carriageway.

NECA Traffic have reported police are on the scene, with one lane now open.

A jam has been caused, leading back towards Seaham.

A queue has also built up on the A690 Durham Road heading towards Sunderland.
