Saturday, February 13: Alternative Valentine's Dinner at Blackfriars. Fed up of all those love birds? Enjoy four fabulous courses, fizz and tea and coffee just because. Costs £49 per person.

Sunday, February 14: Jen Stevens Valentine's Day Special at The Customs House. Treat yourself and your partner to a VIP experience with music, dinner and plenty of romance. Tickets £27.50.


Sunday, February 14: The Drifters at Sunderland Empire. Dance along to some of your favourite songs with this chart-topping performance. Tickets cost £29.90.
