Vandalism causes delays on Metro service
Trains have been delayed by up to 15 minutes on one of the Metro lines due to damage caused by vandals,
The service has warned passengers travelling between St James and South Shields will face disruption to the timetable following an incident.
Earlier this evening there were delays on the service between Chillingham Road and St James when a train had to be withdrawn due to antisocial behaviour.
