
The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for strong winds this weekend and will be in place from 12pm on Saturday, February 29 to 9am on Sunday, March 1. South Shields will see a spell of strong winds move northeasterly, and the Met Office are warning that travel disruptions are possible.
