Which South Tyneside pubs have made the Camra Good Beer Guide 2019?
Five pubs from across the borough have made it into a prestigious beer drinkers' bible.
They are among around 4,500 boozers to be included in the Campaign for Real Ale's (Camra) Good Beer Guide 2019.
They include the Steamboat, in Mill Dam, South Shields, which is the reigning Sunderland and South Tyneside Camra Pub of the Year.
Its entry in the latest guide notes: "This multi award-winning pub has one of the largest selections of cask ales in South Shields."
