TWO women are celebrating ‘nailing’ a new qualification – thanks to a South Tyneside children’s centre.
Natalie Corbett and Debbie Corbett were invited to South Shields Town Hall to showcase their new-found talents to the Mayor of South Tyneside Coun Fay Cunningham.
The pair have recently become qualified nail technicians after embarking on a course at Bede, Boldon and Riverside Children’s Centres. Coun Cunningham said: “I am delighted to award these well-deserved certificates.
“These qualifications represent far more than pieces of paper. They could well mark the start of a whole new career for these ladies. I wish them every success.”
A number of courses are on offer at Children’s Centres across the borough including numeracy, literacy and childcare training.
