It aims to help young people with a talent in performance or sport to reach their full potential and already thousands of pounds have been paid out to young performers and sportspeople to support them as they follow their dreams.

Chloe was a talented performer, while Liam was a gifted cricketer.

Now, X Factor star Joe has agreed to headline a concert in South Shields next month on Sunday, August 12, at Bents Park, with other acts from the area on the bill.

Organiser Chris Joyce, 26, of South Shields, told the Gazette: “I organised a concert last year at the Amphitheatre and we managed to get 2,500 people to turn up so hopefully this will be even better.

“I asked Joe if he wanted to do it and credit to him, he has said he’d be delighted to and will perform free of charge.

“He said yes straight away.

Chris is now on the lookout for sponsorship from businesses and individuals to help with the costs of staging the event, with proceeds going to the Together Forever Trust.

“There are plenty of acts from the area who will be performing,” said Chris.

“We approached the families of Liam and Chloe last year before the first concert when we made it public and they said they were really happy with it.

“Now I’m just looking for businesses to help with putting it on because it is all self-funded.

“We hope that with it being a Sunday afternoon people will fancy a nice day out and come along.”

The concert is due to get underway at noon on the day, with support from Lauren Armour, Lewis Curry Duo, Taylor Payne, DJ Cee, Curtis Robinson and more.

Tickets are available at www.togetherforeverlive.com while those who are interested in helping with sponsorship and event support can contact Chris by calling 07973445422 or emailing [email protected].
