FOOTBALL-mad youngsters are being given the chance to brush up on their skills at a half-term soccer camp.

CE sports, which is based at Chuter Ede Community Centre, is inviting young people to join in a week of fun and games.

The soccer camp kicks off on February 16 and will run until the 20th.

Owner of CE Sports, Paul Kirton, said: “Our weekly football sessions are extremely popular with young people, which is why we started to run soccer camps during the school holidays.

“They have proved to be a huge success in the past, which is why we are running them again this year.

“Places do tend to go quite fast as a lot of the young people who come to our camps end up coming back.”

Sessions cost £10 per day or £30 for the week and run from 10am until 3pm at Chuter Ede CA in Galsworthy Road, Biddick Hall.

As well as football, youngsters have access to the games station and bouncy castle.

n CE Sports is hosting a family party at the Armstrong Hall, in Stanhope Road, South Shields, on February 20.

Tickets for the event, featuring a disco and party games, cost £3.
