The North East’s forecast over the coming days will throw a bit of everything into the bag – so make sure you’ve got a contingency plan in place, whatever the weather.
The weekend will start with some mist and fog later, with minimum temperatures of 2C overnight into tomorrow.
It is forecast that Saturday will be mostly dry, with spells of sun and bits of cloud. But if you’re heading out, be sure to pack a brolly – isolated showers are possible too.
Why not spend an afternoon out and about where you can, but have an indoor location in mind just in case.
On Sunday, the region will be treated to some patchy and light rain with clouds covering the sky. Sounds like the perfect weather for a Sunday roast, tucked up in your favourite pub.
The outlook is chilly for early next week, with some localised frost possible in the evenings and early mornings.
Looking further forward to the rest of the month, temperatures are expected to be below average with clouds and a little rain towards the end of next week.
The Met Office is also currently predicting a colder start to November. Best get the hat, scarf and gloves out ready.
