A fantastic experience

We’d like to thank everyone who came to the Christmas Laffalang 2015 on Monday for making it such a fantastic experience.

The brilliant Laffalang Gang, the fantastic comedians and the wonderful behind-the-scenes team made sure the evening went great. Indeed, for three hours and 20 minutes the audience laughed (and laughed).

This was our seventh Laffalang and we are proud that every one of them has been different – other than the laughter.

We try new things, some ideas work better than others but we are constantly striving to make people laugh with original material.

What happens at Laffalang, quite frankly, is pure mayhem at times but the crowd go with it. It’s a fantastic experience.

While we always get lots of kind compliments from people after the shows, and compering the Laffalang is now seen as a “big gig” by the top North East comedians, we were extremely proud when during Monday’s show “The North East King of Comedy” Bobby Pattinson said: “I’ve been in show business for almost 80 years and never worked with a funnier troupe.”

Most importantly, though, the biggest thanks go to the hundreds of fantastic people who came to the show and paid their hard-earned money to make it a such memorable night.

Without you we don’t have a show. It was an electric atmosphere.

The amount raised for Breast Cancer Now will follow soon.

Don’t forget the Valentine Laffalang on February 12 and 13.

The fantastic Mickey Hutton will compere.

The show will take place in the Westovian Theatre, South Shields.

Tickets are £11, available by ringing from (0191) 4247788.
