Cover is of little use

Well said Mrs Davison in your criticism of what our Labour Council has done to the market place (letters October 17) regarding the overhead canopy, which will be of little use when the wind and rain howls through.

Personally, I find it beyond belief the council supposedly worked with the market traders in creating such a howler in the first place when a class of five-year-olds could have come up with something far better.

The dreadful structure only adding to the hotchpotch of other unsightly buildings in the area.
