MR Hughes had a right go at me on the Gazette’s letters page the other day.
A serial moaner? There was me thinking I was putting to paper what a lot of people in Shields already think about an issue. That’s my usual feedback.
My first Gazette letter was about 40 years ago when I was 15ish.
Now, 350 or so letters on, and this godawful Labour council still gets right up my nose as it inexorably destroys my town.
I might get up your nose, Mr Hughes.
But as long as there is no viable, vocal opposition in the town hall, I’ll keep on exposing Labour’s scorn for the very people who vote them in decade after decade.
