What an absolute silly idea the council is proposing to consider in the application for a three-storey Waters Edge apartment block.
The emphasis should be on retaining a beautiful stretch of our coastline, without cluttering it with fancy apartments, which will be expensive and could possibly be purchased as "holiday flats".
Furthermore, the road access to this site will be inundated with lorries and machinery whilst building work is ongoing, and no doubt damage will ensue.
I suggest the council should be more focused on building affordable housing for people who cannot afford to purchase fancy apartments with a sea view.
