No to longer Sunday hours

Regarding prolonging Sunday trading hours, this will close down more small shops and put many shop owners and their staff on benefits.

This is a C of E country – religious or not, we kow-tow to other religions.

What about shop workers and cleaners who now have a break on Sunday?

This will further damage family life.

Supermarkets want this – remember the public only have the same money to spend.

The small convenience shops will lose out.

The government is wrong to give the decision to councils, the government must make the decision so all areas will be the same.

Political parties have all agreed that 24-hour pubs was a wrong decision.

This is exactly in the same category.
