Referendum on monarchy

The people have voted and it’s a big vote for democracy.

Cameron called it a close vote as 48% voted to remain, and a lot of his supporters are asking for a re-run.

What he doesn’t say is in the last election only 28% of the country voted for him, but because of the voting system we are stuck with his austerity party.

As we are on about democracy, I think it’s about time we had a referendum on the monarchy.

Like the European Union the monarchy is undemocratic, unelected and a drain on tax payers’ money.
